I think it would be a good idea to thank Stam for all his hard work with site - dont you think so. Well done Stam and at the moment I am seeing 1046 online and since the release of FM2011 the site seems to have record members online also. Congrats Stam for making a great site!

Thanks for your kind words guys. There have been some previously unseen traffic spikes for the past week or so. I'm quite happy with that, but it shouldn't last for much longer if we can get to a stable running state.

Unfortunately the downtimes we're getting is hurting our credibility and our Google rank as well, and that is a shame. On top of that Google webmaster tools are telling me the site is slower than 93% of sites online, which has to be a combination of unresponsive server at times along with unoptimized raw code in terms of semantics.

There is still plenty of work to put into the code for various optimizations that will ultimately lead to a remarkable speed boost and faster site experience. I also need more time to build up backlinks. In the meantime, I'm trying to keep the updates coming so we don't stay behind, mostly graphics wise.

We can always get to that mark when Genie Scout is released, but it's more important to stop the downtime at this point.

So far i havn't seen any downtime so that is good. The goal comp should be a big hit for the site!
