FM21 AZ ALKMAAR- CREATING A DYNASTY

Hello and Welcome to my first ever football manager series. Our aim here is to create a dynasty with AZ Alkmaar and becoming one of the biggest clubs in the world. I want us to be spoken about in the same breath as the Barcelona's and Bayern Munich's of this world. There is however one slight catch and it could potentially become a stumbling block for us. Our entire first team apart from Yukinari Sugawara (Japanese), Pantelis Hatzidiakos (Greek) & Albert Gudmunsson (Icelandic) are either Dutch or Scandinavian and so i think it makes sense that we can only sign Dutch or Scandinavian players moving forward. With this we will attempt to move out those 3 players mentioned above as they fail to meet our criteria.

Club Expectations for the season:

• Qualify for Europa League
  
• Reach Group Stage of Champions League

AUGUST 2020- PRE SEASON
Well what a pre season it has been! We managed to win every game including a champions league 2nd round qualifying match against Besiktas. We have now been drawn to play against KAA Gent in the next qualifying round.





It is quite clear to me that we have plenty of young talent to develop into the first team, one player that has the ability to become a world class forward is Myron Boadu. Throughout the 5 pre season friendlies he found the back of the net 6 times with 1 assist. It is safe to say we will be building our team around Myron for the foreseeable future.

We have made a couple of signings so far but didn't want to do anything to major as waiting to hear all of your suggestions. Also a few players have been moved out of the club.

This is going to be the starting 11 for the first game of the season away at FC Groningen.
