FM Genie Scout for Touch

Is there any way to get the genie scout to run off saved games? I use an ipad for FM touch, I don't have the program on my PC.
If I transferred the saved game file to the PC, can I run genie scout on that? Or does it need the program running in the background?

I think you need the FM21 Touch running on PC for it to work. That's how it works for me.
