"I ever become a Footy Manager, I'll bring you lads with us for the ride"
The inconspicuous comment made by wannabe manager Tom Little after more than a few drinks would end up shaping three best friends lives for the better. The people Tom had made the drunken promise to, James Lloyd and Chris Reeves, held him to that a few years down the line when all 3 were ready to enter the world of football.

The trio met up at the bar where the now infamous promise was made. The aim of the night was to decide each individuals role as well as the club they would begin their journey at. After a heated debate between all parties it was decided that Tom would be the manager, with his tactical nous and previous media experience in addition to being the only one who had managed at a professional level before meant it was a no brainer for him to be the face of the trio. James Lloyd, the businessman out of the three would be the DoF. Tom and Chris trusted him so much they would entrust him with all business regarding transfers both incoming and outgoing in addition to contract negotiations with players and staff alike. Chris Reeves took up the role of Tom Little's right hand man, with his coaching quality as well as motivational skills making him the perfect candidate.
All that was left to figure out was the club where they would begin, and their luck was in, as Tom Little pulled more than a few strings, called in more favours than he had to call in and managed to secure the jobs at a top division club, albeit one that was bottom of the league and under major threat of relegation, but it was a club so desperate that they were willing to take a chance on three young English lads with a dream and vision. When it was all confirmed to Tom, he finished his pint, looked at the other two and told them "Well lads, pack your bags, we're off to France"
