Great start mate! Looking forward to the next chapter. A case of false-dawns so far, I would say. It makes sense that a move would be on the cards to look for more regular first-team football.
A dream move quickly turned to a nightmare. How very depressing! Another great write-up mate and quite the rollercoaster given the high of life in Puerto Rico and then the US to the news of a return to the UK as a result of a devastating injury.
ScottT: I imagine the warmth of Puerto Rico would've been the thing most missed back in England
Good to see that he got to get back out on the pitch again with a good club in Blyth and performed admirably too. 31 is a relatively young age to retire but let's see what happens next with regards to going into coaching.
Mauve: Thanks I'm sure Mark will need it!
ScottT: A young age to retire but better to go out while still on top or go out when people think it's your time to go?
A gamble to say the least and as mentioned with regards to Bates and Harrison, Hartlepool's track-record with a turnover of managers since relegation from the Football League isn't great to say the least. I hope Watt can be the man to guide the Poolies back to the EFL.
A talent for this level for sure! Exciting arrival and a good start to recruitment!
Hartlepool have a squad that is certainly capable of challenging for promotion back to the EFL. A sensible and smart piece of business to recruit someone like Boadu.
