Good to see that he got to get back out on the pitch again with a good club in Blyth and performed admirably too. 31 is a relatively young age to retire but let's see what happens next with regards to going into coaching.

A gamble to say the least and as mentioned with regards to Bates and Harrison, Hartlepool's track-record with a turnover of managers since relegation from the Football League isn't great to say the least. I hope Watt can be the man to guide the Poolies back to the EFL.

Hartlepool have a squad that is certainly capable of challenging for promotion back to the EFL. A sensible and smart piece of business to recruit someone like Boadu.
