Skin Problem

i've downloaded a few skins for the new FM11

i do the process needed by extracting the files etc and most of them work and appear on the skin list on fm prefrences

but for some reason one or two just don't appear despite having completed with the same ones just before?

any ideas anyone?

are you sure there isnt 1 folder too many?

at times when you might extract a skin there might be 1 too many folders.

so for an example it should be: /Football manager 2011/skins/(skinname)folder

and in there directly should be the skin content. if there is another folder other the skinname folder and then you come to the skin contents. then it might not load.

I have a different problem. i downloaded some skins and they work fine but when i use them the graphical atribute of players disappears (but the photo remains). this doesnt happen with defautl skin (both can be seen). is this fixable?

This happens because most of the custom skins come with various mods. You can 'fix' it by deleting specific xml files within the 'panels' folder of each skin.

In your case, I think it should be the following file:
player profile personal details.xml

This year there are a lot of changes happening here. Downloads is our primary focus though, so I make sure we have everything when it comes to utilities and popular graphics.

The skins section in particular features literally all skins that have been made available from around the scene so far. Well, at least the quality ones. If I'm missing any decent skin you're aware of, please report and I'll add it.

Any ideas you have about the site in general as per how to improve it, feel free to post in the suggestions section
