Hey guys.
I'm having a real problem with setting up FM2011 graphics the way I want them.
I've got the same stadium background pack that I used in FM2010. Only problem is that ALL of the FM skins that I'm downloading are literally unreadable since there is no dimming filter on the skins for FM2011 like there was on FM 2010.
I'd post a screen shot but I'm not sure how - safe to say, you can't see pretty much ANY of the text.
Can anyone recommend a (any!) skin that is background friendly? One that has a filter that means I can actually read what's on the screen?
Thanks in advance guys.
i'm not sure what exactly is your question ... do u want to change the background on a particular skin? if so, locate "backgrounds" folder which is inside the skin folder in my documents/sports interactive/fm2011/skins. there is a picture called "default" inside, you can replace that picture with any picutre you want but the name of the desired picture must be "default".
Anyways, i have a question too: I cant locate the sintax which is determing the colour of selected player/club in the settings file. For example, in tactics screen, when you select one of the player, you get a box with his atributes, the important atributes for that position are highlighted, i need to change the colour of that. Any help?
Naa mate, I'm fine with all the graphics.
The problem is with the backgrounds that I have (or any stadium backgrounds), they are too damn bright. It doesn't matter what skin I choose, they are just too bright because unlike FM 2010, the FM 2011 doesn't have a filter (a dim "shade" that the writing is placed on).
If you notice, all the default skins come with DARK backgrounds so that the writing can be easily read. It doesn't work with other backgrounds. If someone could recommend a background-friendly tag, I would be grateful. SURELY there are people out there using stadium backgrounds that have a compatible skin.
I have NO idea about your color question though mate. Hopefully someone can help you out here.
I know what you mean mate.
I don't remember which skins have that, but
try this file.
Extract the folder "filter" to <YOUR_SKIN>/graphics and place global panels.xml in the panels folder of <YOUR_SKIN>.

Naa mate - that didn't work. Rather, it's turned the background into an off white color now. Even more ineligible than it was before haha. Thanks for the effort though, any other suggestions?
