So here we go.

I am a new FM player have only played FIFA manager mode but just a total football fan.
Started the game with my favorite team Chelsea just to see how things work and what I can and cannot do(pretty much can do all the things which is neat).

A brief 2 season spell with Chelsea and how we did:

First season was very interesting because I was experiencing the game first hand and every single new article or report was a good read. But as the season went on I saw that I was spending a good 30mins in between matches and it took me for ever to progress. This is not including some player searching.
Narrowed down the things I am interested in and just kept moving forwards.

Signings that I did if anyone is interested

IN - Justin Kluivert from Roma (15.5mil) My main winger on the left. Did not expect such performance
IN - Sebastian Esposito from Inter (15mil) This fella was scorching defenders everywhere

IN - Andre Onana from Ajax (60mil)

that was the first season players who I brought in.

Next season was

Timo Werner from RB Leipzig (59mil)

Nikolas Dyhr from FC Midtjylland (6.5mil)

Djenairo Daniels from PSV (2.7mil)

Paulo Bernardo from SLB (6mil)

Sandro Tonali from Brescia (16mil) great young midfielder, did amazing with limited playing time

Leo Ostigard from Brighton (11.5mil)

Corentin Tolisso from Bayern (74mil)

Ben Chilwell from Leicester (60mil)

Marco Carnessechi from Atalanta (7mil)

Lucas Paqueta from Milan (60mil) probably a mistake with this signing.

Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund (94mil).

So these guys have been great additions to the squad for me since I sold a few of the good players of the Chelsea squad.

First season we managed to finish 2nd in the Premier League and got kicked by Barcelona in Champions league Quarter Finals. (6-1 on aggregate, YIKES)

No other trophies were won by us. A decent season all things considered with some long injuries to key players and Transfer Ban.

Second season rolled in and well we finished second again in the Premier league 1 point behind Arsenal, they signed Alex Telles and the dude went crazy for them, scoring 18 goals as a Wingback.
But we managed to win Champions league which was a pretty easy task I think. Its funny because in the end all we had to face were other English clubs.

Out of the Group stage we went against Shakhtar, and beat them easily.
The quarters were against Liverpool and we smashed them as well.
In semis we got Man City and thats where I thought it was over, but we managed against them pretty good (4-2 on agg.) and the final was against the other Manchester team, the United.
It was a good game from us and 2-1 is the victory to take it home.

With some minimal grip on the game I am looking for a serious challenge, any suggestions are welcome but I want to work with some small team, maybe France or Italy 3rd or 4th tear football. Maybe some Netherlands or Germany team in lower ranks, I guess we will see next. For now thanks for reading and leave your opinions.
After some consideration I have picked a couple of teams which I would be interested in:

Italy:

Como 1907 (A very nice town of Como, actually a Province of Como in Lombardy, the team has done well in Serie C and Serie B while actually the team played in Serie A , which means the club was a competitive one being now back in the low leagues.)

A.S Livorno Calcio (Another Serie C team with a lot of history of being competitive, couple of times a runner up in Serie A, could be brought back to the glory days of 20s or 40s)

Germany:

FC Ingolstadt 04 (German side with some history, but mainly I just like the logo of the team , valid enough reason right?)

TSV 1860 Munich (Well, most of you probably know this team, they been champions of Bundesliga but the glory days are over, time to do something about it)

France:

Le Puy Foot 43 Auvergne (Just look at this name, cant go wrong with that)

So these are my picks for the teams to try and do some damage. If any of you got some more suggestions or help me decide between these teams do tell.
The choice is made so ladies and gentlemen I will be running Como 1907(Later on just Como)

I have not heard or seen anyone else do this save so here we go.

First things first, lets take a look at the overall quality of the team. If we look into the squad, first thing to pop up is that we got 2 main strikers in the club and both of them being loaned in. This is fine but it would be nice to have at least 1 player of our own. (Not sure how much that plays with mindset of player when he is loaned in or bought) But ill be taking a look at that for sure.

With me I would like to do 5-2-1-2 tactic so 3 Center backs needed and we will be looking to bring at least one more into the club, loaned in or bought. As well we are lacking in the department of atacking center mid, and if we want to get some goals going I think this is a main priority for us at the moment. Getting a solid Right sided wingback will be beneficial too. All in all team is looking decent but basically could use an upgrade in every single place.

There are some free signings that I will be looking into, several places to upgrade or just add to the depth.

Next thing is the transfer budget, I made it all into the wage budget since I think the only signings I will try to do will be out of contract players.

Staff seems fine for the time being but will be updated later on, except for one, our goalkeeping coach who is abysmal with stats of 5-10 range. I will try to get him out as soon as possible.

First season I dont plan on promotions or anything of the sorts. Maybe a playoff run would be nice but time will tell. Will be an interesting task for me to see and sort out the players and use such a tactic in a low level team, with trying to do some short passes and playing the sort of possessional total football. I am not much of a tactician so its a learning experience for me.

As always comments and suggestions are always appreciated and encouraged.

Next update we will dive into the transfers and some friendly games to see how the team does. Stay tuned.
Good luck!
