how do i get rid of a facepack??

i have tried everything, took the files out of the folder
reloading skin
deleting cache
everything by the book
so basically i was running a retro facepack for a retro save
now i want to start a new save with the df11 facepack but whatever i try i still get the retro faces in my save

HELP please
may god give 10 players of 5 star potential in your next youth intake to whoever can solve this

EDIT: fixed after restarting my computer

1. Delete all the folders which contain the facepack.
2. Delete Cache Folder from Sports Interactive folder in %appdata% location.
3. In Preferences tick "Reload Skin".
4. Restart
