Things I have never seen on Football Manager over the years...

#1 a penalty given for handball
#2 a penalty given for a player being clipped by the keeper as he goes round him
#3 manager sent off from the sidelines

Anyone else got any others....?

• A team going into administration (not including the teams who are in administration at the start)
• Players getting a global ban for violence. ( even though it states the consequences in the season rule)
• Real managers getting sacked after a take-over.
• Other Small clubs becoming dominant following a takeover. (eg Man City, Newcastle).
• Players accepting lower wages as the reach the later part of their career, then accepting a lower wage when the sign for an AI club.

You won't believe this but in my first match after writing this post I have seen a penalty given for handball.

Been playing this game since the first-ever Championship Manager and I cannot remember another one EVER.

What were the chances?!

I would not call Newcastle a dominant side now. lol

I think at this stage they might be rather than will. It takes a lot to get to the top of the Premier League, money alone doesn't keep a team there. They'll have to make sound investments across the board in terms of staff and players and fascilities. Whilst their owners might be mega rich, the FFP rules limit how much they can actually put into the club itself.

Will they win trophies in the near future? probably. Is it certain? nothing ever is.
