New Stadium

Anyone got or seen a new stadium yet in the game? I'm with Southampton, dominating the premierleague and my stadium is on average 97% full, but the option for expansion or a new stadium is blanked out in the boardroom. Capacity is 56000 ish so i don't think it can be expanded any more, really hoping for a new stadium named after me! haha

I also noticed chelsea have moved into a new stadium on my game.... Lampard park is the name lol!

I'm in the same position as you unfortunatly! On my Bristol City game I am in the same position as you but we've recently expanded the stadium to 40,000 instead of relocating which is a bummer!

In my save my capacity is on avrage 99% and capicity of the stadium is 2000 and my board dosen't expand it netiher moving into new one. I think it is due the finacial problems.

Yeh, i find it funny i cant even ask though. There is the new option this year to ask for a new stadium, but its blanked out and not even an option for me, likewise for the expansion one. Previous years you've been able to ask for an extension and get the old the council wont allow it crap back haha.

Ive purposefully been avoiding spending masses on money and instead buying youth to save some money. I'm hoping once i have saved up a good amount the option will become open, or maybe when my average attendance % is 100%.

To be honest with you I don't know how moveing stadium works because I never had done it.

Sort of what happened to me again, after several seasons I thought it may be ideal to relocate so I put it forward to the board and they said although they cannot fulfil my request to move stadiums due to financial reasons they could afford to expand Ashton Gate . . .

What I hopping for is to have stadium name after me and I understand that you have to be legend to have this honour. In my save I am already fans favourite so I am hopping that maybe board will move the team into stadium named after me.

It took years to get a new stadium on FM2010, but it came when I had given up hope of getting one but I want one now!!!!! hahaaa

btw it took me three seasons to get a new stadium with chelsea...
i kept asking for an expansion or a new stadium on a regular basis.
then i stopped asking and only asked for an expansion at the end of the season, which was rejected.
two weeks later they announced plans for a new stadium...
right now the stadium is 6 months behind on schedule...yay...

I cant even ask for a new stadium! so frustrating haha

Only problem with my save is that my team donse't have money for expanding or to build new stadium.

I had the same thing with My Basel game, option is blanket.. You Maybe have an option to buy stadium? You have to buy stadium before you can expand it or build a new one! That solved it for me!!

my stadium is so small ... capacity < 8000

My teams stadium is way smaller with capacity of 2000.
