Crash Dumps

Hi mates!
today i've experienced the first crash dump in fm2011.the message was that the game crushed and a file was created in Documents/sports interactive... Since i cant's diagnose what caused the problem, can anyone suggest how to open the dump file ( which is around 7MB).I tried with notepad and Microsoft word, but i get encoded file.Am i the first one experiencing this?

dump files are supposed to be sent to SI i think.

i got my first crash today as well. very odd that FM 11 has more bugs than fm10. i think we will be seeing another patch in december. we have to.

I agree, there are too many bugs.I finished 6th with arsenal and didnt get a place in Euro Cup,Chelsea won the FA Cup( finished 4th, so they play in Champions league),Not. Forest won the Carling Cup (so they won a place in Euro Cup), Blackburn finished 5th...how come i'm not playing in europe this season?!
P.S I'll send the dump to SI,tnx for the info

Perhaps an English team that finished outside the top 6 won the Euro Cup? I would hope that winners qualify as an extra team but didn't something like this happen to Everton when Liverpool won the Champs League?

I am cosider myslef lucky cuz so far I didn't have any crash dumps in this FM version.

If you are able to pinpoint the exact location of when your game crashes (when you click continue after your latest match, for example), I often found that cutting and pasting my ENTIRE graphics folder and taking it OUT of the SI fm2011 folder normally did the trick.

Then try and put the graphics back in folder by folder (skins, pictures, backgrounds, etc). It's a bit time consuming but I never get the crash dumps more than once using this method

Usually i get crash dumps every two weeks, unless i am lucky and i cover a month.. If you go to SI forums there are thousands of people complaining and that makes me mad! It's rediculous that FM11 "eats" 1,80GB of my RAM, there's no other game with such behaviour, and it's barely 3D game..

Hi, ive had the FM games from thhe start, and nothing like this has ever come up, until i downloaded it from steam. it says that it has a fatal error when i'm picking the leagues and stuff, so i followed all the documents up until i found the crash dumps folder. I deletd the folder but it's still saying that I have a fatal error because of the crash Dumps! HELP ME!

for me crash dumps ended when i completely re-installed and started a new save.
