Hello everybody,

I have a little problem: I've noticed for a few years that even when I increase the finances of an AI club by a lot, its squad doesn't really improve and I can't make a league stronger.

I wanted to make the Austrian league much stronger, and even though I gave RB Salzburg a budget of 80 million, they hardly buy anyone, only one or two average players for 5 million for example. Is this only due to the reputation of the league and the club?

Thanks a lot for your help !
According to your post you haven't changed "finances". You only increased the "transfer budget". Increasing the budget alone doesn't help much. You have to increase their bank-balance too. A Club won't spend millions if they don't have any cash at all. RBS should have some money already, so it's also affected a little by their reputation. I would expect transfers between €10m-€15m in Winter Transfer Window.

Cheers

Thanks for your answer. I did change the bank-balance, but the investment in buying players is ridiculous compared to the overall budget. Maybe we have to wait several years before we really see the effects, I don't know...
