FM Genie Scout has always been the world's favorite scout utility for Football Manager since its very first version.
We pride ourselves on exclusively releasing this legendary tool since 2009. As always we try our best to deliver Genie Scout to the world every year because your support to this project is outstanding.
Our aim is to update Genie Scout "g" edition to be usable for the FM26 Beta. Then fix any bugs reported. And ultimately try to update all relevant data to reflect the changes in FM26 (e.g. new player roles).
FM Genie Scout 26 Release Date
Public edition
While we can't give you a firm date for the release of the public version, we should be able to release it towards late November. It usually arrives approximately 4-5 weeks after the "g" edition."g" edition
The "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate, is available since 25 October (beta 1). Current version (beta 10) is compatible with the 26.0.5 version of FM26 on Steam, the 26.0.4 version on Epic and Gamepass (Xbox), and with the 26.0.3 version of FM26 on Console.Please note not everything will work perfectly initially, but we'll keep improving until it reaches the level of quality we’re aiming for.

The "g" edition is ad-free and has certain features compared to the public edition.

- GS Stats (new since 18g)

In the last version of "g", players are 2 years younger than in FM.

I'm having problem with the key it keeps saying its not found where do i need put just in case i'm putting in the wrong place?
I've just updated to 26.0.5 on Steam tonight, and Genie Scout to the latest build (1511) following the messgae below. But I still get the message "Football manager not found".
FM 26 app is open, I've tried running Genie Scout as admin, have also reinstalled including deleting reg keys. I've also confirmed GS knows where my save files directories.
Any other suggestions to try would be much appreciated.
Just to clarify — the issue happens even if I don’t play FM at all after the first load.
Basically, the first “Load Game” in Genie Scout works perfectly.
But if I try to load the game again (even right away), I immediately get “Game not found.”
From that point on, Genie Scout won’t detect the game anymore until I fully close and reopen the app.
After restarting, it works again on the first attempt — and then the same thing repeats.
So the problem seems to be that Genie Scout fails on any second load attempt, even without reloading or changing anything in FM itself.
@Phyrex: I can't replicate this. How much time is "playing FM for a bit"? To be fair, there's no quick reload and everything takes as much time as the first load on app open. Meaning that quit and reopen only takes a few seconds.
I tried writing to @Stam in the chat, and he replied that Eugene has been on a business trip, but all the keys should have been sent out. But I still haven’t received anything.
Following up on my post from a few days ago.
Issue: After playing in FM for a bit, when I switch back to Genie Scout and use Reload (inside GS), it shows “Game not found.” The only way to fix it is to fully quit and relaunch Genie Scout; then it works again.
Repro steps (consistent):
Launch FM 2026 (Steam) and load my save.
Open Genie Scout 26 and attach to game (works).
Play in FM for a while (no reload/restart in FM).
Return to Genie Scout → click Reload → error: “Game not found.”
Further reload attempts fail until I completely exit and restart GS.
Questions:
Is this a known bug you’re already working on?
Any workaround I could try meanwhile?
