So I started a save with FC Halifax and instantly regretted it. Why? Well the fact I had NO money and had to rely on loans, and when I say Loans I mean I was basically doing EVERYONE a favour by borrowing genuine idiots. However I did manage to get hold of Puscas who turned out to be a savage! In the first season he scored 37 goals with 12 assists! Puscas and WIlly Kambwala (A season long loan with an option to buy for 6.3 million) Got me promoted. The second season was more of the same but I got hold of an Argentinian Wonderkid (Regen) Called Hernan Sharabi. Now, this lad is a beast! 18 years old with 5 star potential and has the best Mental Attributes I've seen on a young lad. He now and again has a little breakdown during big games because his strength is akin to Stephen Hawkins Left hook but with a half time pep talk he soon gets back to it. The second season was a whitewash. Sharabi being player of the season and assisting 29 times! Not bad for an 18 year old AM. So the Championship season was a stressful affair. I decided first to strengthen my back line as I knew i'd concede a LOT more in this league so I took some of my Boards money and slammed it down on the table for Mengi from UTD and Levo Colwill from chelsea and my god! Those two at the back alongside Kambwala saved me on many an occasion. I conceded only 19 goals that season and got through to the playoffs winning and securing my promotion to the Premier League.
The posts that follow are going to be more in depth as it's brutal AF in this league! I am currently 16th with 8 points.... Yes I know, but as long as I stay out of the drop zone I'm happy and more importantly so is the board! I am currently playing a 4411 with two Carrilero's which is somehow working even though the players in those roles do about as much work as Boris Johnson did last xmas. Somehow though, it's steering me outta the red.
Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson is my latest signing from Football Club København. If anyone wants a cheap Industrial Midfielder who can also play on the right wing in case you want a scary viking running at opponents this guy is your man. He cost me 14.5 million but he's well worth the money.
My next games against West Ham so I'm expecting at the most a draw.
