Potential Europa League Glitch?

Hey there, first post on here and chances are I've missed something and am being a bit silly but basically I'm in 2027 and have gotten Farsley Celtic to the Europa League. I got a group with AC Milan, Rapid vienna and Midtjylland so not too bad and after all was said and done we easily qualified alongside Milan. The issue I have however, as mentioned in the description, is that we both ended on 14 points, both drew against each other both games and I ended with a higher g/d yet I was still qualified as the 2nd seed.

So yeah basically just trying to see if this has happened to anyone else or if I've missed something obvious haha

There you can see, that after the result between the two teams, the goal difference and the goals scored, away goals come next. Maybe this is the criteria.

This could be the case but if Goal Difference is the main decider besides points themselves then wouldn't that still put us 1st? If indeed away goals in the games does take priority then AC did score 2 away goals in a 2-2 draw whereas we scored 1 in our away leg so perhaps it could be but would have though g/d held more weight.

Appreciate the response and in the end it doesn't really matter much just wanted to point it out in case it was a bug or something haha

Is there anything in the rules about away goals in the matches between your team and the other drawn side. For example was the draw at home for you 1-1 and the away draw 0-0. Wouldn't that mean Milan then be in front of you on away goals?

Their away goal against you was the deciding factor. All deciding factors between the two teams are taken in to account before overall group goal difference.
