When a team say ranked #150 beats a team say ranked #100, the #150 ranked team would only move up 1 may be 2 spots.
If a team ranked #150 beats say 10 teams ranked between 110 & 90 in a row, they would only move up say 10-15 spots over the period of those games.
I recognise in the real world, many teams have shot up between 10-40 spots (rare occassions) but it happens, after just a single game.
Other occassions, if a team has a great record over a period of 12 months, they would move up between 10-40 positions but I don't get this when I manage any international team in FM22. I could maange a team ranked 180, win 10 games, draw 2 against teams ranked between 110 & 90 in a 12 month period & only be 10-15 spots higher.
Let me know if I am wrong or if I am overthinking this.
