Yes Craig he is the star player for sure. I just wonder if i should take advantage of his fantastic spread of skills and train him to be able to play as an attacking midfield position too? he seems to have the skills to do anything in an attacking sense.

He scores from close range, long range, headers, he crosses well and picks out some lovely passes and he's pretty quick and can go past players. Probably the best striker i've ever had on the game and still only 21.

I would, he would be awesome there, you could play a 4-3-3 and play him just behind the front 2, what position is he best at?

I remember in my Liverpool season i had a 16year old left back, but could also play right back and left midfield also, he was in my first team straighta away, pushin Paul Konchesky and Fabio Aurelio out of the first team, and I got a regen from Walsall his name was Robbie Parkin, was a right attacking midfielder, striker he was good for cup games, but wasnt good enough for the push against the top teams...until i got sacked from liverpool and couldnt get hold of them in my other team when i was manager of Bayern Munich

@ NoX81
Yeah, I'd say AM or winger. Looks like he'll be excellent at either position.

Looking forward to seeing what this guy turns into. Look at his record in my under 18's and reserves (And England under 21's) lol. Still has 2 full stars to get to max potential, only just turned 18.

Should get up with 20 finishing, heading, long shots, acceleration, agility, balance and pace, will also be high in other stats. I'm sure he'll become best in the world.

Any suggestions on how I should continue training him? Play him full time in Premiership now? (he's already a "good" Premier League striker in scout reports). Maybe loan him out? I don't really want to mess this one up. ;P
Forget sending him out on loan, i'll keep him in my first team. Just put him in his first match, 2 goals, 1 assist, 9.30 rating and MoTM award, 4-1 Win away to Reading. ;P
@ Clarity-

Play him for about 3 games and leave him on the bench for a game, especially if he hasn't had games before.

I made a mistake with I young right back regen who I signed almost immediately after he appeared. I played him every game, but after 3 or 4 his fitness dropped dramatically and a game or 2 later he got a broken wrist and missed a month full of tough fixtures including Man U and Inter. Last time I play youths consistently. Don't forget your player's natural fitness is only 10 and stamina is a not-so-good 13.

Moral of the story: Play him to give him some experience but make sure to bench him now and then to make sure he doesn't burn out.
Seems to enjoy the first team, been in 1 month, played 3 games, now he's got 14 green arrows, finishing up to 18, long shots 17, acc 18, stamina up to 14 now. Think i'll leave it until the new season (May 1st now) and start playing him alot more.

No doubt that he's ready for the Premier League. If I saw him, I'd try to sign him away! Should be a devastating goal scorer.
The player i posted on the last page Alun Jones is a similar sort of player, he was like your guy at 18 and i think was out on loan at premiership level with Wolves and did very well. In his first full season with his proper club Arsenal (just after i took over) he scored 30 league goals and has never looked back.

Your guy is ready for the first team, just rotate him out to the bench and rest him completley hear and there while he's young to keep him fresh and injury free.

Well, I figured i'd post a little update... he just did this against Villa in the FA Cup semi final, lol.

Winning 9-0 is not a regular thing for me, he also broke the high scorer in 1 game record (obviously, I mean I am at Telford). Villa aren't even a bad team, they're 8th in the Premier League atm, was a freak result.

Anyone know how I can get more of my crosses to my target man? He's got very good target man stats, just I never have many crosses connecting. (He has 18 finishing, 16 first touch, 18 heading, 13 jumping, 17 strength, 14 anticipation, 11 work rate and 10 team work, he's also 6.5'), so it must be my tactics. I use 2 wing backs in 4-1-2-1-2 formation made by myself. Any tips? ;)

Anyway back to my normal regen post, here is Dan O'Connor 1 year after last post. It's going quite well, he was Wonderkid at 18.

You have got quite good regen mate.
Really excited for this guy. I believe he appeared somewhere between 2011-2012 in Bayern Munchen. His finishing was 18 last season and is now 19. With attributes like this, do I see a German David Villa? :D If you look over certain stats you gotta admit, they seem similar.
