I've started a Dortmund save a number of times now, since it's one of my favourite teams, and repeatedly failed to make them perform on the pitch under different tactical setups and formations, which has been rather frustrating to say the least. I can't help but give up on the save once those first league games come along and I see the team playing so poorly, being leaky in defense whilst mostly ineffective in the build up phase, missing passes left right and center like a bunch of drunken amateurs and allowing the opposition to run roughshod over the defensive shape and between the pressing with utmost ease. It's simply infuriating to watch after all the time spent trying to set a decent tactic during pre season. Haaland is the only one who performs irregardless of team instructions, player roles and the overall formation because well, it's Haaland, he's basically a cheat code who scores for fun yet everyone else is inconsistent and unreliable. What can I do in order to get this team to play some attractive attacking football while remaining defensively secure? I'm not looking for a game breaking insane scoring tactic, just something that's fairly pleasing to look at when going through the match sim.
