Finishing!!!!

I have just lost a match 1-0, where we had 5 CCCs and they had 0. I've had lots of other matches like this, and all my strikers have finishing 14+. Does anyone know what the problem is?

do you strikers rate highly in composure? If they don't then they are more likely to bottle a one on one or a clear cut chance

Composure and Concentration I think would help but mainly composure. Perhaps give your forwards individual finishing training so they can focus on it - no idea if the training is purely focused on stats or not.

Maybe your strikers are low on morale or in bad form, this is often the reason for strikers not scoring but once they fire one in the goals start flowing. Perhaps try having a private conversation with them about their recent form or last match.

...and have about 2,439 goalies in my squad?

Then you opponents will have crappy ones and your strikers will score lots of goals. lol

If it happens rarely you can say it's bad luck or that your strikers are not in form, if it happens often try to see if it is against lower rated teams, and try to motivate them better, if not..then leave them on the bench 2-3 games, and pray the FM gods to let you score (sacrifice some KFC or something )

Lately i found out about Bravery! i have a player in Hertha, Ramos, who is very fast, however he is not technical enough, no long shots, no heading stats, few mental stats but bravery 16.. The thing is that except for his quickness he finishes clear cut chances, he always goes for the header, he always puts his leg in front to create a chance! I didn't expect a player with 9 finishing perform so impressively but i think bravery is something to mention!

(1st season - 43 goals,15 assists, 16 MoM)
(2st season - 5 goals,2 assists in 5 games, 2 MoM)

mental attributes are very very important.

but also i have at sheff wed atm a player called Myre Williams. he is supposed to be good technically but lacks mental attributes. and supposed to be an ego player. but so far he has put in a few goals and a few assists and working well. so at times you can just find a player to tick, at times some dont perform under you.

My mate did that once with Pepe Reina because every time he played Liverpool he always played at least an 8, so he said you can have £40mil after 40 games and never played him when he came lol

i agree about the bravery-part... maby not the best for clearcutchansen and so, but when it comes to crosses and other gritty situations in the box it's worth gold
