I wonder if anyone on here can help me.
I have created a small competition that consists of 8 teams. The setup of the competition is 2 groups of 4. the top team in each group automatically qualifies for the final. after the group stage, 2nd plays 2nd and 3rd plays 3rd. The winners of each of those matches will meet in a third placed playoff. The problem is this:
I have the cup tie mapping set up in which, for tie "0", seed 1 plays seed 4 and in tie "1", seed 2 plays seed 5. However, despite seeds 1, 2 and 4 showing up and being correct, seed 5 doesn't show and, as such, tie "1" never gets played.
Does anyone have any ideas as this is the final issue I need to sort in my expanded database?
