I think that FMSE needs to be updated to the full version of FM23 and the new version hasn't been released yet, so be a little patient and wait for the update of FMSE

FMSE23 has been updated to support 23.1.0 for Steam and Epic, but also Game Pass. Enjoy!
Just redownloaded and reinstalled FMSE 6.1.0 beta.
With the Game Pass version the editor is still saying "Could not find a compatible Football Manager version".
Might have to do with the fact that the game is not installed on the C: drive? I also tried changing the Game Documents folder in the Preferences to both the game folder as well as the data folder.

I don't exactly know why but trying again after a few minutes of playing (without updating anything) worked, so all good I guess?

I wanted to check the editor before buying, but it doesn't even start, writes an error that the version of the game is not suitable, although everything is OK, its version is now 21.4.0. I could suppose the problem could be the game document fieldset that is empty, but I don't know what is needed as information.
