Hi guys, I'm new to FM Scout. I thought I'd give the manager stories a go since I'm been playing FM from bottom up for a good few years now.
Human's Background
----------
I started playing FM in 2005. After briefing playing with my favourite team Arsenal, I realised it was too easy. I decided to try lower league management with Shrewsbury Town (I chose them due to the colour of their kit, looked nice). My aim was to make it in the Premiership in 7 seasons from League 2. I'm proud to say I accomplished this every season up until 2010.
In FM2010 I decided to to go lower than the lower league, I went 'conference' on FM. The aim was still the same, get into the Premiership but instead of 7 seasons, I gave myself 10 years. I found out I wasn't a good a manager as I thought as I once I won promotion to League 2, my team yoyo-ed up and down the league for 3 seasons before I finally jumped ship to manage Italian Serie B side AlbinoLeffe.
Game Idea
-----------
With Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea all claiming to be the best side in London, former Malaysian international Sandheep Nair signed up to manage relegation favourites Barnet in the nPower League 2. Naturally, the English media asked "Nair who?"
Nair signalled his intent early on in his tenure, making it clear that he had high hopes for the Bees. The media had predicted that Barnet would finish bottom of the league but when Nair was asked who he felt would win the league, he cheekily answered, "Barnet."
The dressing room was not too pleased with Nair's comments. The players felt he was putting unnecessary pressure on the players. Nair was not worried though, he ruled with his iron fist. Many of the Barnet players would find out in the coming weeks that players, like employees at any company, are replaceable.
(Note: I'm playing the game a season ahead of updates)
