Rate your legends

Inspired by Jacko, I want to set up a team with the legends of all-time.
An indie team, not sure how I'll implement it though.

Recommendations from the board?

van Der Sar - many many bigger goalkeeping legends in world football. oliver kahn.

steven gerrard - legend for liverpool but nothing much else. similar to frank lampard. great for their clubs but in no way legends.

alan hansen - better pundit than he was a defender. and he isn't that great a pundit. tony adams.

Sami Hyypiä - Laurent Blanc.

Ps: You forgot fat Ronaldo. Fabio Canavaro. Cafu. Nesta. Maldini. Vieira.

just my two cents. and im a big dutch fan, so the best thing would be cloning dennis bergkamp so you can have 11 dennis bergkamps on the field. and maybe genetically modify them to love airplanes.

Alan Shearer - With out argument this man is one of the best strikers to have played in years. Proved on some many levels by the teams he played for and still got the goals etc. If he ddi not make your team than it would be a shame. A little bias form me there cause of being a Newcastle fan but am sure many people can see where I am coming from

i know this is probably a due that no-one will have heard of but they were one of the best if not THE BEST defensive due Scotland and Aberdeen FC ever had:-

Willie Miller and Alex McLeish both Centre Backs

Instead of Edwin Van der Sar, Peter Shilton.

i know I'm a sweede, but it's not for nothing that thomas ravelli is in the legendery XI, should put him along with schmeikel and levave van der sar... also you've forgotten some of the gratest such as garrincha and eusebio... also agree with LLM that fatso ronaldo should be in it... people have forgotten just how great he was because of his decent these last years, but still, one of-, if not THE, best stiker for the last 15 years or so... shuld also consider dropping platini just because he's so stupid these days...
