Tutoring (syaukat's problem)

I'm playing Chelsea and I bought Romelu Lukaku. How come I can't ask Drogba to tutor Lukaku? Is it because I put Lukaku in the first team? the same thing happen when I want Petr Cech to tutor Matej Delac and Lampard to do Paulo Henrique. Is it because we can't tutor those who is in the first team? Should I place them in the Reserves back?

Have you asked the senior player? i didnt realise you had to ask him and was wondering why i couldnt do it by talking to the youngster.

yeah ... the process is to ask the senior player first ... I did ask the senior players, but the name (in my case Romelu Lukaku) is not listed in the available candidate for tutoring ...

If i were you i'd try putting them in the under 18's and then continuing, then try it again and if it doesnt work then you might not be able to do it. Drogba would be a great tutor for lukaku too as they're style of play is very similar.

I think it also has something to do with the reputation of the person being tutored.. although dont quote me on it. Ive had trouble with tutoring young players that have had alot of interest in them when signed eg: 5+ teams all trying to sign him at the same time you are.

This I cant understand is why oh why, if I try and tutor someone but they wont have a bar of it, I cant ask that player to tutor someone else FOR THE WHOLE SEASON! It seems ridiculous, that a player who obviously would be happy to be someones tutor, cant be asked to tutor a different player if the first player isn't keen.

I think it more has to do with squad status. If your player is a key player than why would he need tutoring, whereas if you make him a hot prospect or youngster than he is more likely to be tutored

I don’t know why you are unable to do that , but I have ask a player in first team to tutor another player in the first team , so I think that the fact both are in first team doesn’t have anything to do about it.
