Has anyone had an issue with not being able to build a new stadium?
I have done 9 seasons with Birmingham, have been in Europe for 4/5 seasons now and sell out every single match, with over 60k on a season ticket waiting list.
Whenever I request to the board to build a new stadium, I get the message that says the board will need some time to consider and get back to you shortly, but then there is never a response in my inbox. Wondering if this is some sort of glitch in the game?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
The minimum is to be 20 y/o old the stadium before expansion or building a new one. Location space is also plays a role.
If the owners are corrupt parasites looking to extract money from the club rather than invest in it for the future, you might have a problem.
You may have an issue if the club's owners are dishonest parasites seeking to siphon cash from the organization rather than making long-term investments.

im having the same problem with Birmingham - in my fifth season, have about 400 million in the bank and every time I ask for a new stadium they say they will review it and then it never happens - a few seasons ago they did agree to build a new stadium also but that never happened - now it just pops up on the board request once a season usually and then they say they’ll back to me shortly and then never do - wondering if it’s a bug or something I need to do or to do with the owners
Same problem unfortunately , starting to become tedious . Every year they decline and then agree after a meeting but nothing happens after. Ive also never had a takeover which isn't 'promotion from within' so wonder if this has something to do with it or both things are a bug. Would love to know if anyone has actually had a new stadium with Birmingham or a takeover which isn't from within. I'm currently approaching 2043 with 6 Champions Leagues and 7 Premier Leagues with over 300 million left spare in the balance, and 92,000 on season ticket waiting list. Surely a new stadium should have been built by now.
