98/99 DB Regen mod

Hi guys,

New to the forums and site here but loving all of the amazing work!

I was wondering if someone more technical could assist me in getting the regen mod for TMS' new 98/99 database in FM23.

I have the .fmf version of the database downloaded and in my 'editor data' file and I have followed the steps posted by Warringtini and various others of downloading his mod and creating folders data > database>db>2300>edt>permanent then the support_staff.edt mod.

When I load the game the database works which is amazing but I've tried a few times holidaying ahead 1 year, 5 years, 10 years and 12 years and have none of the 'real' regens coming through like Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi etc.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or a different trick on MacBook to get this to work? I've tried uninstalling the game and creating diff folders but still nothing has worked.

Did you ever figure out how do install the regen file on your Mac?

Heeeelp!! I forgot to delete the regen file, and I got Phillip Lahm, Jermaine Jenas, etc. in default database FM 23, but after that I deleted this mod, but they still remained in the save

is there any way to remove these "real" regens from my save? and will new regens appear from that file if I have already deleted it?

please help me, I don't want to lose my save progress

Which version are you using? If it's the free one then you won't get the likes of Messi, Ronaldo etc. They are only in the full version

how do i get ronaldo and the likes then if thats the free version like where would i need to go to get it
