Im new and love the game but....

I bought the game and I am addicted. I have the game from steam and bought yesterday so I do not know what version I have.
I have been trying to use some editors but cannot get them to work and I have a couple of questions. Hope you can helpa noob like me.

1) Where do I extract the downloads to? I am trying to use UGFC and FMRTE.
2) I downloaded .net 4.0 and updated my computer but the dectector onlt says 3.5? How can I get .net 4.0 to work?
3) Do I put the UGFC and FMRTE files in the steam folder for FM11?

3. u can create a folder anywhere and place ur fmrte files in there..
maybe create a shortcut to fmrte.exe and place that on your desktop.
never used ugfc. anyway u can edit ur finances in fmrte.

This is very helpful. It is not working but thanks for the reply. I will only use fmrte. I will hopefully get answers to 1 and 2 next

Ok, I actually got it working. Thanks SO much!! Now to learn how to use it....

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I finally got FMRTE to "work". I went to try and give my team some more transfer funds and not matter what I do it reverts to 0 and now the game I have spent days on has 0 dollars for transfer. What did I do wrong? Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated. I am using steam and the latest FMRTE. I can change everything except wage used which stays at -2147483648. This seems to be the default for everything. -2147483648 Euros.

Dude, after you change something and move to another panel in FmRTE, you have to save your changes in the saving icon on the top left corner. Hope it helps

It might also be advisable to use Genie Scout (can be found on this website). It is currently the best scouting utility and is great at helping you find new players
