basically load it up into the editor again and save it and verify the nation rules
Have you found the answer?

I've been looking for a long time and there is a very easy way.

1-Open the editor.
2-Rules menu;
3-Test the rules.

It's as simple as that.

2023-12-06 15:12#294957 guest : thank you ! for the answer but I only have an " in game editor " to modify player atributtes, remove injuries and modify subs rules.
I don't have the option in the editor to verify files. Strage not all files need to be verified to update.
I can't modify them with notepad it is encoded in other language.
I am still tryng to find a solution.

That is pre-game editor he is talking about, It can be downloaded from steam for free. This editor is used to create, modify different types of databases/leagues.
Hi all

I know this is an old post but I really need help loading the sortitoutsi Northern Ireland ( lvl 15 ) database into FM24 please. Basically I have the latest database update from sortitoutsi website plus Eng Scot & Wales lower league custom databases loaded but when I install the Northern Ireland one here and start a new save it says that this NI one needs to be tested in the editor first ? I have the game pass version with the pre game editor but i've no clue how to test it ? I need step by step as any guides have been useless as people are being too vague. Thanks in advance

copy and paste the edit file into editor data folder in the same location where you store your game data. Usually Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024.

Start a new game / career. On the top right you have a database. Click it and see if the file is added. When there is an issue with the file the game won't load it and it will be a "!" icon next to that file.

If it ticked start a game and see if there are any issue while reading the file.
