New version of FM

Hi all,

I'm sure many of you are having the same issue.

I'm fairly new to the FM scene and bought the editor a couple of days ago, but since the update today the editor can't find my game. I'm guessing this is normal as an update of the editor is required but just wanted to check?

Yes, it's normal. New patch today means the tools need to be updated to be compatible with it. Usually they get updated within 2 days or faster.

Nice one for replying Stam. Was getting a bit worried for a second being a new subscriber.

how long are we looking at now? Its been 4 days and both genie scout and FMSE arent working

@joswahlol: Genie Scout 23 'g' edition was updated the day after the patch. The update for the public edition will be delayed until late April. This delay happens twice a year; game launch and winter transfers patch. Normally it happens after the main winter patch (and not the final winter patch), but Eugene's store for donations wasn't working at the time. In every other patch release, both g and public editions get updated at the same time. It's Eugene's way of rewarding his direct supporters.

Regarding FMSE, this kind of delay is not normal. Thanos usually takes 1-3 days to deliver an update after a patch. I've been sending him a dozen messages each day since Wednesday (right after 23.4.0 dropped) and he still hasn't responded. I'm thinking he's either ill, or on a business trip, or on a pre-Easter vacation. I'll keep trying to get hold of him.
