All Players Attributes can only be exported in HTML format, but I can't export them in .csv format [I need this format for PES Editor by w!ld]. Is this my fault or is just the BETA version? Same problem with Height and Weight. Should I wait for the next version of Genie Scout?

Hello tribal379i

There's a specific forum thread to report GS11's bugs and Eugene is watching it:

To answer your question: I think it is a bug ;)
there is a way to export the atributes, but not the height and weight(i think last year you can' export height either. If there is a way, please tell me)

I'm going to explain it:

First at all, you have to put player name an ID in the first two columns. After that you put 15-20 atributes and after all of this, the columns with information which you can export(there are 15-20 more or less(no atributes, rates or positions)).

And then you export and you have the columns of atributes (with the names of information column). So you only have to change these names for the atributes names.
Repeat the action sometimes auntil you get all the atributes in some csv files. Then you put all the csv files together(you have to put the ID player in all the csv files and then put in order to join all the atributes without any error).

And voila, you have the atributes. It takes a little time and patience but i think is better than wait genie fix the bug.

The only column is wrong is "Division". Genies put a wrong division to the teams in the whole saved game. I hope he fix this for the new version. And please, if someone how to put the height to export at csv, please tell me!
Hello, guys! Thanks for your replies! Well, I have found out how to export players with full attributes [still except height & weight].

I export them as text, then I import the text file in CSVed [the best free .csv file format editor], I select | pipe as delimiter and after that I delete all the dots with an automatic function as Replace All. Now i can save it as a .csv file and I can import all the players I need in my PES Patch with PES Editor by w!ld.

The only problem that I have is an "OUT OF MEMORY ERROR" if I try to export the whole full database which contains 307,000 players!!! I can only export those players in parts.

But, anyways, Genie Scout is great, I only need Weight and Height [I have the databases from previous FM Databases - like 500,000 players from FM 2009 & FM 2010, so I can find the heights and weights there, but it takes some time...
There's another option using excell:

I export it as txt and open it with Excell.
Convert txt to columns and save as the desired excell format.
Nothing of the above works for me...I tried using excel and csved doing exactly what you said but i still can't import players into the editor...It only gives me one column where all the attributes and information are,i think that's the problem, except if my genie or editor are to blame...Guess I'll have to wait until Eugene fixes this bug...
For those saying they can't export all the information of players in csv, please understand this is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc... the rest information belong to SI and SEGA.

About displaying weight and height in players results and export in csv, it should become available in the next version (that would be 3rd beta).
That's ashame. It makes the export facility as much use as a chocolate fire gaurd for me now.

I'll have to enter the stats manually....or keep using beta 1 :(

Cheers,

Boony
