Current abilities per league

Currently in my second season after promoting Oldham back to league 2, and was wondering what sort of current ability my players should be at to eventually push for the top of league 2.

And also, for future reference and for anyone else instered what would these values be from VNL north/ south up to premier league top 4 for each division.

Most recent searched have come from posts over 10 years old, any help will be much appreciated.

You can compare your squad with the rest of the league from Squad Planner > Reports > Comparison.

Current Ability is just a number or a star (which is based on opinion of background staff). There are certain attributes which does not increase the hidden current ability number; but have big effect in player performance such as Professionalism, Pressure, Big Matches etc.

So, from Comparison panel; judge by attributes - their personalities & media handling style. Physical attributes have bigger effect in match engine from mentals and last technicals. This, does not mean you are only to focus in physicals; because attributes are being connected each other.
