I'm playing a 4-3-3 tactic with a stopper and cover at the back and 2 poachers and a target man up front. But I keep searching for balance in midfield. Do you guys (and gals) know an answer.

Tried ball winning and 2 advanced playmakers, also central midfielder deep playmaker and advanced playmaker, ....

Is there an "magic" order like the target man and poacher or cover and stopper?
at times you need to tweak the personal instructions to make them work optimally. i usually go for 1 DM who has little in creative freedom which makes him stay lower down the pitch as cover infront of back 4.

so you need to tweak personal instructions to find a good balance.
well to be honest,3 players in mid are not enough.
i used to play 4-3-2-1 which is 4-3-3 when i am attacking.
main thing is,against strong teams DMC had settings for Anchor Man.
about other mids, well you have to try different settings but i like it symetric for both cm-s.
i'm playing a 4-3-3 through mid and it works great.
as for the midfielders, i have an anchor CDM along with a box-to-box CM and a flexible CM depending on which player i'm using.
