Hello! This is my first post, and this problem has been bothering me for a while.
I like to play Football Manager with poor clubs from European leagues at the bottom of the UEFA Coefficient list, such as Latvia, Iceland, Belarus, Hungary, Bulgaria, Finland, Ireland, Slovakia... Teams from those leagues can typically offer approximately 50k per year and finding adequate players is really hard.
What determines whether the players are interested in negotiating or not? I tried all the possibilities, I looked at player ratings, even compared the parameters with FM Scout and I didn't find an answer.
Example: Antonio Marin from Paraguay (AMR) with CA - 110 and PA - 130 wants to join every club I have played with. His salary demands are low.
On the other hand, players who have not had a club for a long time, who are from poorer countries or have played in poorer countries, have a lesser reputation (World, national, current), have unrealistic demands and demand much higher salaries!
Why?
