Penalty Takers

As most of you have done in your teams i have also added some players in my team to take the penalties according to penalty taking skill that they have.So far so good.
My point is that some times when a player (usually striker) has previous in the game scored twice and my team win a penalty the 2 goals scored person goes to hit the penalty no matter if he is at the penalty takers list or not. It's not a big deal but anyone know why that happen? its for the 'glory' of hat-trick? Thanks

Hmm well, I haven't had the situation in which a player has 2 goals and I get to take a penalty often enough to find a trend in it, but I guess it could be programmed in that way. Kind of makes sense

Yeah mate that's true! They try the hat-trick. Personally I think it's a good idea as u can't change the penalty taker after the penalty is given. Don't you guys think you should be able to change the taker after the penalty is given? Just an idea to 2012...

Well,you have a point there TFM but if i am winning with 2-0 at that point i don't really care if he will succeed at penalty. Was just something that i saw in this FM and thought to post about it:p But as Zonnegod said,it's probably programmed to do that.Anyways,thanks for the replies

i haven't noticed that, but i think it's a good thing, because scoring a penalty depends on players performance and rating in the game as well as penalty taking skill. So a player who scored two goals will have rating around 8.0 and thus more chance to score a penalty.

Yes,that makes sense _dusan_ but i must be unlucky cause in the last two games that this happened, Babacar missed the penalties while he already had a rating of 8.2 as you said. But well,as i previously said it's not a big deal for your team to lose a penalty while you are winning with 2-0
