September League Results:
Mafra 2-0

Well 1st win in the league in the season which is really great because thanks to this win Boavista had get into 3rd place with only 2 points behind the 2nd place which is a promotion place and that is the place that board is expecting to get for Boavista at the end of the season so I think it will be a hard task but only 2 points to get into promotion place and I think Boavista is on the way to play better and maybe get better results and just waiting when one of top 2 teams are going to slip some points.

Penafiel 2-1

Before the game Boavista was a favorites with 4-5 for a win, 2-1 for a draw and 3-1 for a win to Penafiel so I am really hoping that in this match Boavista will win because they are currently in 3rd position with only 2 points behind 2nd and 1st places so there aren’t many points.
Starting 11:

Well another win for Boavista and I am really pleased with that because Boavsita is still in 3rd position with 2 points ahead of 4th position Estoril and 2 points behind Gil Vicente and P.Ferreira who are in 2nd and 1st places. Boavista had played a lot better than Penafiel but the match didn’t start well for Boavista because in 13th minute of the game Fausto from Penafiel had scored and until the half-time Boavista had chances but the result keeped the same. Equaliser goal was score in 58th minute by Boavista’s left winger Lula and last goal of the game was score by Jorge Ferreira Rodriguez in 78th minute so kind of late in the game.

Beira-Mar 1-0
Before the match Boavista was favorite. 4-6 for Boavista to win, 9-4 for a draw and 7-2 for a win to Beira-Mar. I expected a win because Boavista was clearly a favorites but Beira-Mar are one of the favorites to get promoted to Liga ZON Sagres but Beira-Mar didn’t win a single match this season so far and Boavista played at home so that’s kind of easier.
Starting 11:
GK: Joao Nuno RB: Ribiero LB: Helio CB: Jorge Ferreira Rodrigues, Leo Bonfim CM: Adrian Chamera, Joel AMR: Jean Silva AMC: Mateusz Poczwardowski AML: Lula ST: Adriano
Boavista managed to win against Beira-Mar which I am pleased about because Beira-Mar is good team and Boavista played better in this match than Beira-Mar so in my opinion they deserved this victory. Only goal in the match was scored by right-winger Jean Silva in 86th minute of the match so quite late in the match. Maybe Boavista didn’t moved up in the league but P.Ferreira (2nd place) had draw a game and had the same amount points as Boavista.

Taca de Portugal:
Praiense 0-0(pen 3-1)
Before the game Boavista had been favorites in this match. 33-1 for win to Praiense, for draw N/D and for win to Boavista 1-22. I kind of expected a win in this match. I thought Boavista would win in 90 minutes before this game but they didn’t which is a shame because they had a lot of chances which they didn’t finish but at least I am happy that there are players who can take a penalties.
Staring Squad:
GK: Joan Nuno ,RB: Pedro Ferreira, LB: Machado CB: Diego Leite, Mario Loja, CM: Joel, Emerson RAM: Jean Silva, LAM: Patrick Vaz, AMC: Mateusz Poczwardowski, ST: Adriano
Most of this players do not play in first squad so in Cup games it is their chance to show the Boavista manager if they are worth keeping in the club and even if they are good enough to be in first squad.
I am pleased that Boavista managed to get into 3rd round of Taca de Portugal but I think it is just poor that Boavista can not score a goal against a team who plays in 3rd Division is really a problem.
