no feeder club?

well, this has been my fourth attempt to get a feeder club but always end up with nothing. Although the board would agree we need a feeder club (not always for the same reason) after a few days they say they couldn't find any suitable...
Does anyone know why does this happen?

Perhaps you are in the lowest league or otherwise your clubs reputation isn't high enough yet. Feederclubs have a much lower reputation than yours. Also I believe most feeder clubs are close to your club.
So if either of those options is not there it might be difficult to find one...

No nothing to do with that, I've been with forest 3 seasons now and I have the same, they agree but then never come up with anything, but to be honest I just loan out players at 50% or 0% wages, just as effective

gert78 I'm in olympiakos greece. I have the best reputation in the country, we are the league champions since the start of the save and all other teams finish more than 10 points behind us. For two years we have reached the champions league semi final and world class players have agreed to joined the club, most reputable mussa sissoko. I don't really know why does the board agree at first that we indeed need a feeder but finally they cant find one. Most frustrating thing is that 4 other clubs in the league do have feeder clubs, even more than one and not only in greece.
To sum up i have to do the same with oldskoolhero... i loan players for free...

Unlike earlier versions of FM, in FM2011 the likeliness of you getting a feeder club(or a parent club) depends on whether there are clubs actually willing to be feeder clubs(or parent club) and have made a similar search. Your board then looks for clubs with proper reputation under this criterion and offer for an agreement. So basically it is about luck, though chances are more around the period of august.
