here's mine. i honestly didn't think he'd do anything. now he's a goal a game striker for man city and i have to put the bus up in front of goal to stop him scoring 3 past me every time we play. worst part of it is i thought £15million was robbing man city blind.

For me would be would be would be Diomansy Kamara who I bought for Nieciecza for free and he did pretty poor. In 2 season he played 40 games and he scored only 2 goals which is pretty bad for stiker so I release him for free and he sign contract with Standard and when we played together he scored 4 goals agaisnt me in 2 games in Champions League group stage.

I must be really lucky from what I have read :), except for some players who didn't really have the rating I was really hoping from them, usually none of the players I sold ever really played good against me, only maybe Theo Walcott once when I played at Arsenal scored 2 against me, but I won the game anyway, and he was lucky with the goals. Regret is not a word in my vocabulary

Worst transfer mistake has to be, well not transfer mistake but wage mistake on loan, as in fm 08 my brother let me loan Benzema for a season due to morale of the team and suitors going after him, and I thoughtI was getting a great deal, except in his first game he was injured for 5 months, followed by about 20 appearences and 4 goals, I decided not to buy him and he turned into a mega star

Best Signing; Without doubt Leigh Griffiths from Dundee, signed for £220k hit 36 in his first season in the Championship and 20, 29 & 19 in 3 seasons in the premiership before being sold for £23 Million

Chinedu Obasi... can turn into an awsome winger stat wise... but ive only ever gotten max 15 games out of him a season, could be a trophy winner if he wasnt always injured for half seasons. anyone else ever got a full season out of him?

For me it was Garra Dembale, signed him for West Brom in the prem. He couldn't settle then complained he wasn't getting enough 1st team appearances. Even when he did get a game he had to be subbed just after half time as his condition went down drastically!! Eventually let him go for £300k after paying £1.5m for his services!!

For me simply has to be charlie austin signed him for ipswich for 1.2million... Over 2 seasons he played 44 games scoring a dismal 5 goals and 6 assists. So I flogged him on at a profit, getting 2million plus 20% of next transfer to Sheffield united. And so far in 61 games for them he has scored 40 goals and 13 assists. And now my scouts say I should try and buy him again!

Yannis Tafer, in my Leicester save. I have seen so much praise for him on these forums so when he was available for loan (fee 1.1m and pay all his wages, future fee 6m) I thought it was a steal. In 24 apps, he scored 1 goal and 3 assists. When he returned back to Lyons, however, he scored 35 goals in the next season, and Man City have bought him. Brilliant.

wenn i was playing higher club i bought him had same problem... what i did i loan him for one or maybe two seasons and wenn he came back he was mean machine in 33 games scored 29 goals and 13 assist i was impressed and on loan he bang cca 20goals... sorry for bad english

For me it has too be Michael Tonge, paid £2.5million for him from stoke and then he started getting angry because he couldn't get in the 1st 11.
I loaned him to Rangers and then they bought him for £4million
