fm original editor

I haven't found any place better to post this so ...

for the 1st time i tried to use the editor which comes with the game ...

( I really don't like to use editors, but this year my club is a disgrace and I see myself obliged to change the course of things, or else i'll be playing in lower leagues )

anyway, I needed a perfect striker so I changed the club of sergio aguero from at. madrid to sporting, changed his salary so it wont be so different from my actual team. He gets 245.000€ p/ month at at. madrid, and i've put him with 145.000€ p/ month at sporting (which matches my better payed player)! I also changed his favorite clubs and add sporting as one of them!

so far so good, saved my editor file and off I go!!

but .... when i enter the game, load my database and everything, he appears on sporting's list yes, but his salary is HUGE, 450.000€ p/ month, it's even bigger than what he had on at. madrid!!


anyone knows why this happens ? how can I change it ?

Personally I'd use FMRTE Editor. You can very easily search for a player and edit his contract details and it works 100% of the time. Used to use it a lot in previous saves to tweak wages, sell-on clauses, etc and worked well. Worked too well that I found myself changing all sorts and now no longer use it as it ruined the excitement!

i've tried it once, but i must be a bit stupid cause i couldnt make it to work!

ill try a 2nd time to see what i can do, i gotta find some sort of a tutorial around somewhere!

I just checked this out, FMRTE isn't compatible with the new 11.3 patch so i'm still stuck! Can anyone help me pls ?!

Try to insert another value at the salary..put it 150.000 euro or if that doens't work lower the salary under 100.000 euros..I think it's a minor error,changing the salary value might help you ;).

that's what I did, he was getting 200.000 euro, i changed it to 145.000 euro!!!

well, maybe it's a problem with the 145.000, i'll try your suggestion!
