Passing In the Box

Hey all, first post here

just wondering if there is a way to get a player to pass in the box rather than shooting for glory. There are so many times where i see my player shooting for goal at a ridicalous tight angle when at the same time there is a play available below/above him in front of an open goal. I have reduced my forwards long shots to "rarely" but they still do it...

In-Match instructions click 'pass into box' seems to work for me

IIRC...

Work ball into the box is the one you're after. This directs your players to pass the ball into the box more, vs the opposite shout of 'shoot the ball on sight' or whatever, which directs your players to shoot from distance more.

Is this an instruction in team tactics, or ,ingame, quick tactics(shouts?)

Work ball into box is what you're after and it's a shout. Also if they are shooting too often from inside the box then they must have pretty low teamwork, or maybe they are set up as finishers (poachers?).
