Help with Patches + Graphics...

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, my bad if so.

Anyway, the topic of this, are these patches that I (Don't make fun of me for being out of the "loop") have only just discovered.

Basically, last night I downloaded the 1.3 patch, and pressed run, started a new game and John W. Henry wasn't the owner of Liverpool. This was basically my only reason for downloading the patch, as Henry starting as owner would bolster the funds for transfers, and as some will know who have played as Liverpool from the start when you originally begin as them the transfer budget is £0. Stevenage Borough have more transfer money than Liverpool FC!

Now, I am as of right now downloading the patch again, this time I pressed "Save" so I hope it works. But what I want to know is how do you activate the patch? I'm not that computer handy, so if anyone could give me a step-by-step rundown I'd be very grateful.

And then my second question would be, if I were to DL the logos for the premier league teams as well as the kits, how would O go about activating them?

Right after u download the patch you then click to open, then it should say update or something (cant remember as i use steam).

Anyway after the update, you make sure the 11.3 option is showing up when u wanna start your new game, if its there happy playing, if not i wouldnt av a clue.

As for the logo's download them (unzip if needed) then put them in the following folder (**** = your comp name, if you have to then create the folders.

C:\Users\****\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\graphics\pictures\logos

Kits is the same but the following folder

C:\Users\****\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\graphics\kits

I would like to use Steam, but it runs very slow on my PC. I originally tried using it, but alas, it took about one hour to fully load so I just went with the PC version.

No problem.
