Chelsea hire Bidweihy as manager
Following the sack of Carlo Ancelotti as he failed to achieve something in the (European Champions Cup) just like his predecessors, Chelsea have hired 'Omar Bidweihy' as their new manager. It might seems a risk hiring such a young and unknown football manager especially if your club is seeking Europe Glory but full of confidence chelsea boardroom has already said their word that the new manager is capable of taking their team to new heights.

That's how it all started for current Chelsea manager 'Omar Bidweihy' after 3 successful seasons with Chelsea.
Craig Gray: We're very delighted to have you here today at Chelsea TV

Bidweihy: Thanks, It's my pleasure

Craig Gray: Do you remember that article from 'The Daily Mirror' on the date '6th July 2010'?
Bidweihy: Yeah, I was shocked! I said to myself: "What if I couldn't do better than Carlo?! They would sack me and then my career would be over because I can't imagine myself managing any other team but Chelsea which I've been a fan of since I was 17
Craig Gray: Could you take us back to the moment you started taking over the team and what you went through in your time at Chelsea until this moment?
Bidweihy: This could take hours, Do you really wanna go through this?
Craig Gray: I'm all ears

Bidweihy: All right then, Here we go

First day as Chelsea manager!!...I..I went to the club and started taking a tour around where I met some of the club members. We had a little conversation about the future of the club and what they expect from the team in the upcoming season. After that I went to the stadium to meet my staff and there was my first problem since most of the staff members were under qualified and not good enough for a team like Chelsea except only two coaches (Bruno Demichelis and Christophe Lollichon) therefore we renewed their contracts and we offered the others a mutual termination which they accepted. I have already had replacements in my mind before I took the job and a few days earlier I've made some phone calls to make sure they are interested. At that time all we had to do was to finalize deals with the new staff members and we gladly signed contracts with:
Andries Jonker: Assistant Manager (Tactics)
Jos Van Dijk: 1st Team Coach (Ball Control)
Paul McGuinness: 1st Team Coach (Defending)
Franco Baldini: 1st Team Coach (Attacking)
Marcel Lucassen: 1st Team Coach (Shooting)
Bruno Demichelis: 1st Team Coach (Strength)
Valter Di Salvo: 1st Team Coach (Aerobic)
Harald Schumacher: GK Coach (GK-Shot Stopping)
Christophe Lollichon: GK Coach (GK-Handling)
Massimo Neri: Fitness Coach (Strength & Aerobic)
John Cooke: Coach
On '10th July 2010' I arranged a meeting with the team captains (John Terry & Frank Lampard). They welcomed me in the club and we had a little chat before we started talking about work, That's when I told them: "I've already listed not less than 3/4 of the team for transfer because they are no longer good enough for Chelsea and we're expecting offers for them in next couple of days. On the other hand we're finalizing deals with no less than 14 players who would take this club to a new level. I want you to welcome the new players in the club and make them feel home as most of them are young."
Here is a report about our transfers season 2010/11:

We didn't have much time for a good pre-season but we managed to play 5 friendly matches where we tried new formations to suit the new players, Thus we went into the 'Community Shield' match with a new, young and skilled squad uncertain about the possibility of winning so before going into the match we told the players just to enjoy the game so they played with freedom and there was the surprise, We crushed 'Manchester United' to the ground with 'Kun Aguero' on the song (2 Goals 1 Assist) and the final result came out (Chelsea 5-2 Manchester United).

English Premiere League:
We started the 'English Premiere League' with a good form only for two weeks and then we faced a loss against Man Utd at 'Old Trafford' and from that match we didn't go on top of the league until 'February 2011' when Arsenal & Man Utd started losing points while we were on top of our form by that time. We managed to keep our position to the end of the competition with 6 points more that Man Utd who came 2nd but even though we won the competition, I wasn't pleased because we couldn't beat Arsenal or Man Utd in the league.

European Champions Cup:
We were seeded first for 'Group A' with Valencia, FC Twente and Panathinaikos. We started with a home loss against valencia but then we had 5 straight wins to qualify us as we faced 'A.C. Milan' in the 1st Knockout round, Barcelona in the Qtr Final, Tottenham in the Semi Final and OM in the Final where we managed to write history by capturing the first 'European Champions Cup' for Chelsea. Definitely 'Moment of the Season'.

League Cup:
Easy matches until the Semi Final where we faced Man Utd and we got through with a (1-0) 2nd leg win at 'Old Trafford' but we lost in the Final against everton and I think it was a tactics mistake.

FA Cup:
Nothing we can say as we lost in the 3rd round against Man Utd (0-1) at 'Old Trafford'.

I think that's all for season 2010/11. What do you think craig?
Craig Gray: Sir, You know I'm a fan of you :). Perhaps you would like a break before you go into the second season.
Bidweihy: I think we would leave it to the audience. Lets see if they still wanna hear it or not.
