In Desperate need of Help!!!

Okay, well bascially my friend has set up a network game and when i have tried to join it won't let me. He's made sure 'Run as server' is clicked checked he give the right i.p aswell.
Is anyone able to help please?

Maybe try download hamachi and play with it.

And do you both play on the same patch?

Yer i never thought about using Hamachi and yes were both on 1.3 patch. Thanks i'll try using Hamachi
