Good/cheap signings for EPL?

Good and cheap signings for a decent premier league side? I'm not sure what team I will be yet but I am making a new game on the latest patch

I'd say Sunderland over Newcastle. I'm playing with the old patch and Razvan Rat of Shakhtar has been good for me. He had a release clause of around £2 mil, not sure about the update though.
Sunderland has a good £18 mil in the transfer kitty in the new patch if you select top half finish. All they need is a left back, some cover up front, and some depth at wide mid unless you choose to play narrowly.

if you want cash go for newcastle, they have like 25 million on the new patch and there is a buyout clause available from the 35 million andy carroll transfer that gets you another 15 million to spend, release a few of their large number of reserves on massive wages and your wage budget leaves you loads more to spend aswell

Raphael Varane - Great Propsect DC from RC lens, only cheap if RC Lens get relegated from French league 1 - potential world class DC when around 23/24 yrs old (£6m-£8m).

personally I would say nilmar is out of reach of most teams unless they are in the Uefa Cup at the very least and are in the top 4 leagues in the world.

u would think that but i managed to get him for stoke by talking to the press saying good stuff about him

I have used Mateo Kovacic from Dinamo - did a good job.
