scouting young regen wonderkids

i am on the season 2013-14 and was wondering how you manage to scout an pick up the best wonderkids that are available cheap and turn into the best players in the game

In the download section (at the top of the page), you can find it. You can just install it on your computer -> run it -> load your savegame -> search players -> tick the "Regen only" box (add other constraints if you like) -> press ok/search -> sort on Potential ability or Potential rating -> Check the sale value and attributes of the players you like and buy them

when i go to the genie scout page and click the download at the top of the page the page is not loading is this my computer or is there a fault with it

its letting me go into the page you download it from but when i click on the download at the top of the page it just says internet explorer cannot open it and the other links you sent it asks me to pay for it do i have to

Ok just go to the other links I sent and then scroll down and look for "slow download" or "free download". Those are free. They offer quicker downloads if you pay, but just ignore that

Don't give up! It shouldn't be very difficult to get it to work, especially after you managed to download it. And if you don't manage to download it, maybe you ask a more computer/internet-savvy person for help.

For downloading:
If you follow this link, you will see the following page:

Scroll down and look for this button (with the big red arrow):

Then it asks you to wait for 30 seconds:

Next, you fill in some captcha:

Then you press "Start download now!":

Some download screen should pop up somewhere on your screen, or it might ask you if you are sure you want to download the file (this varies between web browsers and operating systems)
And then it should start downloading:

Once your download is finished, make sure you save it somewhere you can find it.
Then, find your file and extract it to a place you can find it, as it is downloaded as a zip-file. (if you do not have a program capable of doing this, you should download DAEMON Tools lite here.)
Now simply launch the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you're all done, you can launch Genie Scout and look for young regen wonderkids

PS you can delete the zip-file once you are done

Ok once you have loaded your game, you should do the following:

Click on "filter":

To find regens only, you tick the box behind "Is regen".
If you are unfamiliar with Genie Scout, it might be better to not tick this for the first time.
The reason for this is that the 'real' players will help you give an estimate of how high of a Potential Ability / Potential Rating (explained below) you should be looking for.

Additionally, you can add some filters to your liking.

Next, you press "OK":

Then you will be presented with a huge list of players.
By clicking on "Pot A", you can sort these players on their Potential Ability (PA). Potential Ability is a number ranging from 1 to 200, used by the game to fix the potential skill of a player. So players with a high PA are usually good.

Additionally, you can click on "Best Pot Rating". This sorts the players on their Potential Rating.
Potential Rating (PR) is a percentage used to estimate used by Genie Scout to estimate the skill of a player.

As neither methods are flawless, it is best to look for a good combination of PR and PA. Myself, I prefer PA a little over PR, as PA is fixed by the game, and PR is an estimate that usually changes as the player develops. Also the rating coefficients set by Genie Scout might not be optimal for your style of play.

Finally, you can double click on a player to show it's attributes, and if you tick the box before "Show potential attributes" you can even see an estimate of the potential attributes the player can have in the future. (Note that these are just an estimate! The real future attributes will depend on training etc.)

This is (usually) the minimum value the club will sell the player for and can save you a dime
