I know Genie Scout can tell you what minimum amount of money a club will accept for its players (Sale Value). But I was just wondering if Genie Scout can tell you the maximum amount of money a club will pay for your player. It would be a great help in selling your players so that you will know and maximize what your asking price should be.
No.

A good way of approaching a sale:

- First interact with your player and tell him you're transfer listing him (either due to poor performances or lack of skill)

- Put an asking price through the 'set transfer status' screen

- Continue until the next day to find out if your player becomes wanted by any teams

- If he is wanted, offer your player with slightly higher asking price than the one you initially set

- If he isn't wanted yet, offer him with slightly lower asking price and wait

- If selling the player doesn't seem very profitable to you, try loaning him out if his contract with you has at least 2 more years remaining... you could put an option to sell
I find that if clubs have a MAJOR interest and you wanna get as much money as possible for the player,

Before you transfer list the player and the player is wanted then set the asking price for the player to max £100m then offer player to all clubs for the £100m making sure you untick the 'Tranfer list and set status to not needed' so the player is offered but not transfer listed

I have had success getting back high bids for players, it prob wont be the max but will be worth considering.............of course will only depend on the interest of the other clubs and also the finances of them, usually works when Barcelona, Real madrid and man city are interested in your players

Example when i was with Arsenal

Cesc fabregas worth £28m, offerd out for £100m, got back £52.5m from real and barca second season,

Thomas vermaelan worth £6.5m offered out at £100m, got back offer of £18.5m from man city and also the same with Gael Clichy

It has worked for me at other clubs aswell, always get more than current player value but the buying club of course wikll have to have the money
Good shout Urby, even though I don't think 100M is a sweet spot or anything. So for example, I bet 80M would work the same. From my experience you can usually sell a player up to 3x times his current value.

The trick with unticking the transfer status and squad status update is good, because it can be often used without having to interact with the player beforehand talking him into transfer listing. I mean usually the player won't go unhappy this way.
However, if you're really determined of selling your player and not unsure, I believe you should follow the steps I explained above.
