Hi, I have been blackpool's manager for around 5 years, I was looking to get a nice south american feed club. I requested for a feeder club and the board responded positively and asked if I want to contribute to the selection. I looked through the clubs and found that both santos and river plate for do not have parent club and wanted them to be my feeder, but I was not able to choose them (unlike the previous FM games). 2 weeks later the board returned with its usual list of feeder club, none of which i wanted.
How can I choose my own feeder in fm 2011.
as always. It takes a lot of time, and a lot of trophies as well.
I do have a lot of trophies, and the board did agree to let me choose a feeder, I just don't how to actually choose one.
I dont believe you can have any club as feeder. You probably have to search for the club after going on the recommendation screen. I'm not sure. I never really have much interest in feeder clubs.
So what's the difference between the letting me choose the feeder club and them choosing it, seems they just end up giving me the same list anyways. it's a shame, the board usually give me some pretty bad feeders.
mate, not every club wants to have a parent club, no matter of your stature...River and Santos are one of the greatest clubs in South America, that would be same if you wanted your feeder club to be Juventus, Inter, Arsenal etc...
I haven't noticed that much has changed since the previous FM's, so as you said, there is not much difference...i don't have much interest in feeder clubs anyways...
I just played for another 3 month (ingame time obviously) Santos just became a feeder club to tottemham, whose reputation is a bit those of mine. Also I went around looking for some smaller clubs as well like partizan and slavia prague but also did not have the option to propose for them to be my feeder.
