I have noticed that some players just dont work at all in one club ! Like Paulo Henrique in Liverpool doesnt work at all for me. But Marek Hamsik never dissipoint me ! He is just awesome and scores goals and have a lot of assists! So i decided to start a new topic where we can share if one players doesnt work in one club or if it does :)

So , i will try to start it.

Paulo Henrique have never scored a lot of goals or assist for me in liverpool. I have tried him in 3 different games, his avarage is very high, but still no goals or assists.

Marek Hamsik plays very well ! A lot of goals and assist for Liverpool !

Hulk! The absolutely best attacker you can get for Liverpool! Scores around 25-30 goals in one sesson!

Neymar. Doesnt work at all for many english clubs. What i have heard it isnt very many people who have manage to get him score a lot of goals!

PS. Sorry my bad language and my vocabulary.
Pato at Chelsea. I've never seen him score less than 50 goals a season, usually world golden ball winner too.

Dzeko at Man City. They just seem to waste him there, not using him up front.

Lukaku at Fulham? Yeah, I was surprised when they signed him too, used their entire signing budget on him and still got relegated that year (2013 I think), never really reached his potential.
I have Paulo Henrique in my West Ham save he is the best never fails to impress I play him left attacking mid instead of centre as javier pastore plays there (best attacking mid in the game after CR7 and Messi) They both score and assist many goals. I play a 4-2-3-1 formation I have Aguero as my CF. My team averages more than a 100 goals a season every season. If you want some screenshots let me know
I always think that it depends on the player adaptability points and language spoken.

For example, I bought Cédric Bakambu for Stoke. He only has 8 in adaptability and he only spoke French(even after 2 years playing in EPL). On average he only score 1 every 3 games.

Then I bought an English player Jay Rodriguez and he score like 1 every 2 games.

So I guess language and how quick the players adapt to new country will affect their game form.
About Paulo Henrique, he doesn't score goals because he is more of the creator type, he is the man with the key pass, not assist, he gives the pass that from the next player will become assist. I've had him at 3 teams now, and he did very well for all, especially if played as Deep Lying Playmaker, huge pass ratio, at least 92% per season, he occasionally does well if played upfront, but he is too slow to be anything but Adv Playmaker support imo.

Neymar played really well for me, although sometimes inconsistent, as AML/AMC and striker, always had goals, assists, individual efforts, it's just how you play him. Only by looking at his finishing you can realize that he should not be your pushed forward, I found that he plays very well as inside forward, he finds space between the lines and can run at the defense, pretty similar to what Messi does, so it's all about how you play him, and how you make him to interact with the other team-mates.

My latest discovery is Geoffrey Jourdren, he won like 4 goalkeeper of the year awards in 5 years in France, and yes, in front of Hugo Lloris!! Although in the first season he had some errors that led to goals, now he is very very consistent, making many brilliant saves every game and helping the team remain unbeaten in the league for.... far too many games. He has pretty average attributes, he excels at Reflexes, and I believe that that is the most important stat for a goalkeeper, he only has 12 at jumping, but as football is evolving, most strikers are not too tall now, so he is OK at crosses in the box, and at set pieces he is protected by the defenders/tall players.

Cedric Bakambu is the other type of player that I was looking for in Football Manager since FM 2006, he is pretty much the right man at the right place, although not at his full potential yet, he is scoring consistently, and it's just so good at pushing the ball in the back of the net after a GK save, wrong pass, a cross or just anything, he is doing what Eto'o used to do at Barcelona, just be at the right place at the right time and put the ball in the net.

Edit: Also, don't judge players by the awards they win, especially the European/World ones, as for those it matters very very much how they do at international level, if you are happy with what he is doing for the team, then that's enough :). That's why players winning world player of the year are always at top teams/and are from a strong nation.
