Can anyone recommend tips when playing as Man City im having a terrible time

i would recommend a 4-5-1 playing two defensive midfielders a advanced playmaker behind tevez and an attack mid right and left all set to attack. Have Tevez as poacher. Have Djong and get Vidal from leverkusen (he worked for me when i was city)as your two defensive midfielders and i has eden hazard attack mid left with david silva advanced playmaker and alexis sanchez attack mid right. I went for Darijo Srna for right back. Vincent Kompany and Lescott centre back with kolarov left. Isnt the strongest defence but the defensive midfielders sort that out.

Im man city i just play 4-4-2 its going well for me

Man City have so much money you can virtually get anyone you want, With man city it is best to choose the formation you want first (442, 451 etc..) and stick with it to buy players and build the team around your tactics..

There are so many more to cut a long storey short any player in the game, it is possible to get Messi or Ronaldo but will cost more money than you will have at the start of every season so you will have to raise money first by selling players to make up enough to finance Messi or Ronaldo

Yeah urby1kenobe2011 is right you can get anyone with the amount of money you get with city. I would also like to say that if you dont want to sell your players but want messi or ronaldo just set your expectations to win the league ask the board for a transfer budget increase straight away and then wait til january transfer window and ask for an additional increase and you should have enough for either of them.

I actually laughed out loud at Man City Help. They have so much money its virtually impossible not to win the league every season. Cant believe you're struggling TBH.

I like Shawcross CB he's strong and scores a hell of a lot from corners and play him with Kompany with Varane an absolute monster after a couple of seasons. Srna is a must.

As for formation i would go with 4-4-2 but move your wingers up and have 2 pacey wingers with an eye for goal, I like Alexis Sanchez on the right and Silva is good enough on the left. My 2 CM's, one is creative that can thread a pass, go for Hamsik or Pastore. My other CM as a Ball winner like M'vila or Vidal but De jong/Toure are more than capable. I like to focus passing down both flanks and play really wide with direct passing and man marking.

Get Aguero(Advanced FWD) up front with Tevez(Complete FWD) and you will not lose a game.

It will take 2 seasons to get your team together but there but definitely have enough players to do well in these positions in the meantime.

Cheers for the help i know it was silly just its hard cause ive only started playing and when i went to sign players they all rejected the contract clauses and then i cant make any more sigings untill next season

I think he cost me about 15 million. Can't remember was a while back but between 15-20 million.

i bought Eden Hazard for my Chelsea team and he cost me £20 million, not doing to bad atm but he only played 4 games so far.

Yeah he's a really good player i buy him almost everytime im a big team. But i saw someone post a challenge on here to build a squad of only UK players so im currently attempting that.

i hope your talking bout when I posted this challenge i never won the league though, 2nd is best ive done.

but in regards to your man city team, try and buy the best English players you can get, for example jack rodwell and phil jones as i find they play that much better playing in England, their home country

I am talking about your challenge and i am not doing it with city, just started a spurs one.

I got sacked meh just before the league cup final!! Going to go and play as stoke now this games trick getting use to for someone whos only started going to try that all english challange if i get sacked from stoke
