Hi FM lovers,

As time is pressing upon us and before we know it we will all be sitting down playing FM 2012. not long to go really....

Has anyone had thoughts of what challenges they would like to try? What teams they would like to be in FM 2012?

There seems to be a russian team at present who claims to have the money of man city (dont know their name),but seem to be attracting world stars - i assume they will have sugar daddy

In spain, Malaga seem to have some cash so can someone dominate spain with Malaga and show Barcelona and Real Madrid a thing or two.

Sunderland in the English premiership challenge for top 6/7 with the signings they have made this season.

Liverpool to win the premiership with the singings they have made.

Get Birmingham or West Ham back into the premiership from the Coca Cola Championship

What are your thoughts guys about what teams and challenges you would like to do in FM 2012
My two aims for FM 2012 is :

To get the mighty Liverpool back to champions again and show Manchester United its not just them that can win titles! and take the Champions League back in their hands..Would love to win every major cup eg. FA Cup,League Cup,Premier League,Champions League! I have never done this before so would be awesome to do it in FM2012

Also to get my local team and who i support Walsall F.C back into the Npower Championship..I do this pretty well in my time playing FM2011, I always seem to get them into that league on my second go! But i would love to get them into the mighty Premiership for the first time ever in their 123 year history!
Nice one Wasall Craig,

Great ambitions and really hope you can do it, getting Wasall in the prem will be a very tough task but hopefully you can do it

i also would like to take a smaller club from bottom to top, it is something i am yet to do. although not decided who yet,

Best of luck in 2012

Dude, how can you forget Paris Saint German? :O they just bought freakin' pastore for around €40mil and have already signed players like Toulalan...

also the russian team you're talking about have only offered a high salary to first Gattuso and then Eto'o when they were turned down by Gattuso... There was an Uzbek team who offered Eto'o over €40mil/year deal... An other ineresting thing is too see if the Chinese team who have made Dario Concha the third highest paid player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo will be as loaded as they seem...

as far as challanges go I will definetly be looking to try my no shame challange: starting as a 'sunday leauge footballer' with out a job, working my way through the world of football, jumping into bed with any one who gives me a better chanse of winning trophies (except for Barca) regardless of my feelings for the current club, challange complete when I've won the nr1 spot in the hall of fame
1. As always do a save with my favourite team Steaua Bucharest

2. Play a bit in South America and Asia, hopefully to discover some hidden gems, and increase my knowledge of the football culture on those continents.

3. Play with a big team in Europe, probably Man City.

4. Get a team from outside England/Italy/Spain and make it the best in Europe.

5. Complete the Pentagon Challenge.

so far... :D

Thanks yeah the Walsall season is going to be very hard, but im willing to try my best to do this! As this will never happen in real life, I have a season also with Chelmsford from The Conference (south) i think and i got them back to back promotions into league 2, but im finding it tough, i have the likes of billy sharp and joshua king running my front line, and the solid midfield captain of Richard Taundry(from my team Walsall)
1. to bring leeds united back to the top of europe

2. to manage real madrid and prove to myself that they can actually win a major trophy and not drop it in front of the team bus :))

3. manage Malaga as they seem to have one of the best teams in La Liga this season, which seemed impossible a season ago.

P.S. Can anyone imagine what CR7's attributes will be like in 2012?!
1. Try out more leagues. I've done English, Scottish, German and Czech on FM11.

2. Try to transform a tiny league like Welsh or N. Ireland and make them a top European league.

Any recommendations for leagues? I like the German league where you don't need work permits.

How about Ukraine... or Portugal

Russia also has a decent league.
though all of these are good leauges, at least in my mind ...
my favorite team is steaua and since they play like 8yo in real life, i'll take over steaua and try to win as many trophys as i can....since in real life that's near to imposible
First (as always) doing some seasons with 'my' club Feyenoord (Dutch league), as always I go on until I win everything (including champions league) in 1 season witch usually takes around 5/6 seasons.
And prove that I can do better then feyenoord is doing in real life ;p

Second I will choose a club that I am going to build up (I think in the blue square premier division), have done Leeds united and chesterfield but this year I want to start even lower!

and if I have the time lastly I will choose a team that usually becomes around 5 to 10 in the league and make it a international god ;p (in fm 2010 it was Manchester city, but waaaaaaaaaaay to easy because they just keep throwing money in your face)
